Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills Queens New York. Just before finishing her junior year, she relocated out of Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. Two of her brothers are Gregory, her elder brother and Evan. The first time she was in the industry of entertainment was when she did some modeling at the age of 9 to 16. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she began studying Sanford Meisner's acting techniques for three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training, along with Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton and Diane Keaton are also among the actors that have undergone similar training. Her first performance came in Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out in Los Angeles. She was cast as the lead lady on Johnny Mnemonic in which she performed almost all her stunts her self, establishing herself as a skilled actor. The talent agent she worked with also represented Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able score a recurring role on Friends.
